Biography
Named after Dr. J.W. Grant MacEwan, former lieutenant governor of Alberta, MacEwan was established in 1971 as a community college. In 2009 the school was given university designation and became Grant MacEwan University. The school has three campuses in Edmonton, with the main campus located right downtown. MacEwan University offers a variety of degrees, diplomas and certificates as well as professional development courses and corporate training.
