The Health Warriors Network is a website designed to encourage and educate First Nations youth in Treaty 6, 7 and 8 about careers in healthcare. It is specifically designed with their education in mind focusing on the curriculums of First Nations schools and communities. The website will feature First Nations healthcare employees showcasing their different professions as well as the courses and schools they attended to get there. We have partnered with Alberta Learning Information Service (ALIS)-, utilizing their resources to ensure the students are receiving the most up-to-date information.
The website is a partnership with Treaty 6, 7, 8 and NAIT. This partnership will create and implement a social networking community to stimulate dialogue and debate about health-related issues as well as provide the much needed support, guidance and resources to First Nations People.
