      Northern Lights School Division

For the past year the Avatar team has been working on a five-part series and an instructional coaching video for the Northern Lights School Division. Jaro headed up to Cold Lake in January to shoot the instructional coaching video. Erin, Andrea and Kendra travelled throughout northern Alberta including Lac La Biche, Cold Lake, Bonnyville, Caslan and Kikino in May to shoot the five-part series. The project was completed and delivered to the client in June.

The "Instructional Coaching" video is a series of interviews with teachers and instructional coaches to educate the new teachers to the school division about available resources. The five-part series - "Our Culture, Our People" - was created to educate new teachers new to the school division about Aboriginal communities. The five episodes are: Protocols, Relationships & Learning, Communities, Speak Out and Symbols.
