Hello, my name is David Miles. I'm what you might consider a web-guy. I love all things web-related and often spend my time fiddling with different technologies to figure out how they work. While I would not consider myself a web designer per se, I will say that I have a pretty keen eye for design and what looks good. I consider myself a developer (or programmer, if you will) as that's what I am passionate about and really enjoy. That isn't to say that I dislike designing, though!
About me
I've considered myself a web developer for a number of years now—I've worked on several large, PHP- and MySQL-based projects for different companies over the last few years. A few of these projects have incorporated JavaScript and AJAX, and all of them were huge learning experiences. From this, I've honed my development skills and picked up some design techniques as well.
I've been developing web applications with PHP and MySQL since 2006, and started developing seriously with Flash in late 2009. In my spare time, I build ActionScript 3-based applications for fun and dabble in Adobe Flex.
