Our team

Jon Stewart

With years of experience as a TV entertainer, Jon founded the After Dark entertainment company in late 2009. While he is continuing to produce The Daily Show, he is also playing a very active role in running After Dark.

While the majority of the day-to-day operations are not handled by Jon personally, he does oversee a majority of the work done by the company. While he phases out his TV show's priority, he will begin to become more intimate with After Dark's work.

Bill Gates

Bill Gates is our chief financial officer and party engineer. Coming from over 15 years experience running Microsoft Corportation, Bill has been a great addition to the team here at After Dark.

After resigning from Microsoft Corporation, Bill was approached by Jon during the summer of 2009 to start a new entertainment company. The two had somewhat close relations prior to this; Gates appeared on Stewart's The Daily Show to launch the Windows Vista operating system, and in a video produced for Gates' leaving Microsoft, Stewart appeared as a guest star.

Zooey Deschanel

Zooey Deschanel is our event organizer. While still pursuing an active acting career, Zooey loves the entertainment business and jumped at the opportunity to work with Bill and the rest of the team.

Zooey was approached by both Bill and Jon to get her on board. Being their favourite up and coming actress, it was an obvious choice—and as it turns out, a great one at that.
